“All the idols made by man, however terrifying they may be, are in point of fact subordinate to him, and that is why he will always have it in his power to destroy them” (Simone de Beauvoir)
# PRIVATE PUSSY er samtímadansverk sem spyr spurninga um birtingarmynd konunnar og kvenlíkamans í nútímasamfélagi. Hvernig speglar nútímakonan sig í glitrandi gyðjum poppmenningarinnar? Hvar staðsetur manneskjan sig í stjörnuprýddu samfélagi þar sem öfgafull skilaboð berast okkur með brjóstum og berum bossum kynæsandi kvenna. Koma staðalímyndir í veg fyrir samstöðu um jafnrétti og að konan verði metin á eigin verðleikum en ekki sem kyntákn eða leikfang.
